What a wonderful home! It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped (a huge plus!), the beds were super comfortable, and the decor was charming. Darryl was an exceptional host-easy to communicate with. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book here again!

Darryl was an amazing host. House was exactly as advertised. The view out of the massive front living room window directly looks upon Loon Mountain and the winding slopes unobstructed. Absolutely breathtaking view. Location is seconds away from downtown Lincoln with plenty to do, great restaurants, not to mention the bountiful seasonal activities to be enjoyed. Highly recommend. Will be back.

We loved the loft! It was in the perfect location; right on Main Street so lots of restaurants and shops were just down the street. We hope to come back to explore the area some more. The loft was so beautiful and welcoming. So many little touches—kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, a coffee station set up with coffee and tea, even ear plugs in the nightstands. The host really went above and beyond to create an inviting space to stay. And Larry was extremely prompt and helpful in responding to my messages.

We had such a wonderful stay at Darrell’s place! The moment we walked in, the whole home smelled amazing and everything was spotless. The space is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully furnished, and truly feels cared for. The beds were super comfortable, and the linens were incredibly clean and fresh. We usually prefer king-size beds since my fiancé is really tall, but the queen here was surprisingly perfect — great mattress, great sleep. And the pull-down blinds were a total bonus… I didn’t even realize they were light-blocking until we slept in until 8am on Saturday, which never happens for us. The room stayed perfectly dark. The kitchen setup was also fantastic — the island is literally a boat, which was such a fun and fitting touch for Gloucester. It worked perfectly as an island and a table, and was the ideal spot for my daughter’s 16th birthday cake, gifts, and getting ready to head out to dinner with family. Overall, a beautiful home and a great experience. Highly recommend!

I stayed here with four of my friends and we loved Darryl's place! There was tons of room to stretch out. The bedrooms are big and the beds were comfortable. The big table was great for meals. We could walk everywhere and had a great time exploring Kittery and Portsmouth without having to get into our car. The area is so gorgeous and there was so much more to explore than we had time for! Darryl provided helpful information, including photos that made it easy to find the place and know where to park. This unit is part of a duplex, so you do hear your neighbors, but it didn't bother us. We'd stay here again without hesitation.

We escaped to VT for the weekend and this rental was just what we wanted! Plenty of space, beautiful home, peaceful area. With a teenager, the game room was the hit of the house. Ashley was a great host- quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

If you're looking to stay at a place in Lincoln don't hesitate. This spot has a beautiful view of the mountain and it's only a few minutes away from town. Lincoln is my favorite place in the world to go visit. I'd love to visit again and stay here. Thanks, Darryl!

Darryl’s place was absolutely beautiful. We loved the location and were able to walk to many restaurants and shops. Would love to return in warmer weather to enjoy the outside decks. Portsmouth is an adorable quaint little town. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was the perfect place to stay if wanting to explore Portsmouth! The apartment is within walking distance of so many shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. The location alone really made our trip worthwhile. Walking out the front door, you’re immediately next to a coffee shop and the Press Room. I will say that being next to the Press Room is perhaps both a pro and a con - there was a show we wanted to go to but tickets were sold out, but by opening a window/stepping onto the back porch we were able to hear the music pretty clearly! That being said, music does thump and reverberate pretty late into the night with the crowd getting pretty rowdy, but it never impacted our ability to fall or stay asleep. Darryl was extremely responsive throughout the entire trip and gave us some great restaurant recommendations as well. The loft was clean and with more than enough space for 2 people on a getaway trip. Loved our stay here and would recommend to our friends as well!
