We had such a wonderful stay at Darrell’s place! The moment we walked in, the whole home smelled amazing and everything was spotless. The space is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully furnished, and truly feels cared for.
The beds were super comfortable, and the linens were incredibly clean and fresh. We usually prefer king-size beds since my fiancé is really tall, but the queen here was surprisingly perfect — great mattress, great sleep. And the pull-down blinds were a total bonus… I didn’t even realize they were light-blocking until we slept in until 8am on Saturday, which never happens for us. The room stayed perfectly dark.
The kitchen setup was also fantastic — the island is literally a boat, which was such a fun and fitting touch for Gloucester. It worked perfectly as an island and a table, and was the ideal spot for my daughter’s 16th birthday cake, gifts, and getting ready to head out to dinner with family.
Overall, a beautiful home and a great experience. Highly recommend!

We came to spend a weekend in Salem and found that Gloucester was very close and at the same time had a lot of charm itself . The rental was perfect . We were 4 people and I had 2 small service dogs. The place was very comfortable , clean , and it had every thing it said it would . The host helped me
So much by providing me
Where to go to eat because my daughter has celiacs so he let me know celiac friendly restaurants . As well he guided me on where to go In Salem with two teenagers . The area we stayed too had such beautiful places by the ocean . The house is a couple blocks
From the water itself as well . We had a great weekend and would come back to stay again. The house is also very modern and new which made it so easy to get into and operate everything . I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area .

We had never been to Salem, Mass, so planned a trip. Wanted to be close but not in Salem. Looking on line found Gloucester Mass, and being it was a quaint seaport town, we decided to stay there. Looking for a place to stay Darryl’s Air BnB was a no brainer. It had what we wanted in our stay. It was fantastic. Very very clean. Plenty of room, with amenities to start your stay. Parking is off the street. Darryl is friendly and ready to please. Anytime we texted him he was quick with a response. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
