House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

Darryl's Portsmouth home was fantastic! The beautiful apartment is immaculate, nicely decorated and well equipped. We loved that there was a garage available to park our car, and the central downtown location was walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. The apartment is close to a popular bar and there was some noise on the weekend nights, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Darryl was an excellent host who provided lots of information about the home and area. He was not just extremely responsive, but he was proactive in communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful four night stay!

The pictures, descriptions and reviews of this condo simply don’t covey how AMAZING this condo is!!! Extremely spacious and immaculate clean. Everything is NEW - the remodel, furniture etc. all new! And the dedicated garage unit below was incredibly convenient. The location couldn’t be any better - coffee shop and bar below, bakery at the corner … and all of downtown 1 block away. I’ve stayed at dozens of Airbnbs and this is by far the best one I’ve ever booked. Thanks Daryl!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The space is very nicely updated and clean and the garage parking was helpful. There are many shops and restaurants right outside the door. The Strawberry Banke museum is also just a few blocks away. Darryl provided great instructions on accessing the space from both the front and back and was very responsive when I had a question. If you're looking for a place in a very walkable area, this is a great option!

We enjoyed our stay at Darryl’s place! It was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Beautiful space and walkable to everything in downtown Portsmouth. Well equipped and we really enjoyed the convenience of the German bakery right next door! Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Easy drive to visit Kittery outlet shopping, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport. We took a nice drive to Woodstock, VT and it was so scenic. Will definitely recommend Darryl’s place to friends and family visiting the area.

The apartment is lovely and just as described, if not better. It was well appointed and the location is perfect. Walk to everything! There are coffee shops, restaurants and shopping all within yards of the location. And we all agreed the beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We absolutely can recommend staying in this beautiful home.
