House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

We enjoyed our stay at Darryl’s place! It was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Beautiful space and walkable to everything in downtown Portsmouth. Well equipped and we really enjoyed the convenience of the German bakery right next door! Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Easy drive to visit Kittery outlet shopping, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport. We took a nice drive to Woodstock, VT and it was so scenic. Will definitely recommend Darryl’s place to friends and family visiting the area.

The apartment is lovely and just as described, if not better. It was well appointed and the location is perfect. Walk to everything! There are coffee shops, restaurants and shopping all within yards of the location. And we all agreed the beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We absolutely can recommend staying in this beautiful home.

Darryl’s place is awesome - we stayed here for a wedding in Portsmouth and had a great time. Location right in downtown Portsmouth is great as everything is walkable from the airbnb. The place itself was great - really clean with all amenities listed. We appreciate Darryl having us and hope to come back again soon!

Our accommodations at Darryl's were perfect! The apartment was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed having the rooftop deck as the Airshow with the Blue Angels was in town, so it was amazing seeing them fly right over the building! The garage was roomy enough for the vehicle we had rented (Honda Odyssey). Darryl was very responsive for any concerns we may have had and his response time of 10 minutes was extremely accurate!! Also, I felt for the area, it was very quiet. There is a bar two doors down, but I didn't find the noise invasive as it was only on Saturday evening they had musicians. The Kaffee Vonsolin next door was where we spent our mornings for our coffee/tea and breakfast. The restaurants were outstanding!! Darryl recommended the Massimo's (just around the corner) and Martingale Wharf (a short walk), which we went to and they were incredible! It's very easy to drive to other locations. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Darryl!

My family and I had the best stay here. Perfect location in Portsmouth and walkable to all the shops and restaurants.
