Our Coastal Cottage is the perfect home for a small family or couple looking to escape to the Maine Seacoast. Located in a quaint residential neighborhood within harbor view, this cottage has a relaxing farmers porch, a BBQ grill, 2 full bathrooms and is within a 45 second walk to Kittery Foreside; a small downtown area with shops and restaurants. Our cottage was tastefully decorated by a professional interior designer and comes with smart TV's in every room.

Good to know

Coastal Cottage is designed to transport our guests to the wonder of the Maine Seacoast. The rich blue and gray tones accompanied by the weathered wood will make you feel as though you are sitting on a lobster boat in the harbor. If you open the windows and the sea breeze is just right, you may actually feel as though you're on the Atlantic. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the farmers porch while the sun sets or kick back in the living room near the lobster trap table. House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 10PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level, not just during quiet hours but at all times. If you are on the porch after 8pm please keep voices down and music low. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75 and will be automatically applied to your reservation. For more then one dog, each additional dog after the initial $75 fee with be $50. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Our home includes 1 marked parking spot for our guests. Additional cars must be parked on the street (April-Oct) or in one of the nearby parking lots. If a car is blocking the alley the fee is $75 per day/night and it may be towed. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. No smoking in the home or on the porch. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. Propane grill is available but guests may need to exchange the propane tank if propane gas runs out as propane is not a listed amenity. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

Very nice modern 2 bedroom , 2 bath home . Kitchen was spacious , granite counters, stainless steel appliances , washer/dryer , everything that one would need . Perfect location , right in the middle of the quaint little town . Also , very close to Portsmouth as well.

My husband and I loved this perfect little house. It was a true home away from home. The bed was extremey comfortable, the supplied linens and towels were plentiful and for the two of us we had more than enough space to store our clothes, shoes and other personal items. Kittery is charming and we were less than a 30 second walk to coffee, donuts, restuarants and the well appointed shops (The Cove fine arts and gifts and H S. Mercantile were my favorites) along with Festina Lente and Bistro 1828 for delicious food. It was our first time at one of Darryl's locations and we will definetly book with him again. The response time to any questions was immediate which, as we all know, is very appreciated. We have stayed at many airbnbs and this one was a favorite. We didnt use the grill or stove, but it was available and again, we appreciate that. Its also less than a 5 minute drive to downtown Portsmouth and very close to some other cute towns, this airbnb was sweet in every way :)

Darryl was by far the most proactive host I have rented from. He was so interested in making sure our stay was perfect and welcomed any feedback for his future guests. The rental exceeded our expectations on all fronts and we loved walking into the restaurant district minutes away as well as cooking at home. Gem of a place and gem of a host!

This cottage was a sweet getaway for our young family. We have two small children who loved the cottage and walking to Lil’s Cafe for treats or breakfast. The unit was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! Highly recommend this place. Darryl was very knowledgeable on the area and top things to see and where to eat. All recommendations were 10/10 and kid friendly. All in all, it was a great first experience for what Kittery has to offer.

The coastal cottage in Kittery Maine was the perfect location for our five day getaway. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Daryl was a great host with excellent communication and he was so helpful and very informative with suggestions of what to do and and where to go… We loved the 30 second walk out the front door to the tiny town with a few bars, restaurants, and the most excellent coffee shop. In addition, we were so close to Portsmouth, New Hampshire… we could actually walk over the bridge to it. Also convenient to taking a ride up the coast to Ogunquit and beyond. We would recommend to anyone.
