Other Details to Note

Our home is named C&B Chalet after our two boys. In recognition of the region, the names Bryant Pond and Lake Christopher come from the brothers Christopher and Solomon Bryant, who originally settled in the area. The first child born in the settlement was named Christopher Bryant Jr. C&B Chalet has meaning in 2023 just as much as it did in 1808 when settled. We are proud to share this home and region with you.

House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level, not just during quiet hours but at all times. If you are on the deck after 8pm please keep your voices down and music low. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Parking on street is not allowed during snow storms. Please move cars when plow arrives to ensure better snow removal. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee. Pet Fee = $100 (Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed) Early Check-in/Late Check-out (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees if the rule is not followed are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 30 minutes to 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in an immediate cancellation without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. No smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking is up to a $500 fee. This includes tobacco and marijuana smoke. No more than 5 cars may be parked at our home. No unregistered guests without prior approval. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. If you wish to have visitors or wish to add additional guests to your group, please let us know. Propane grill is available but guests may need to exchange the propane tank if propane gas runs out as propane is not a listed amenity. Guests use bunk beds at their own risk and assume all risk associated with bunk beds. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus cost of the shipping.

This cabin in Maine is truly exceptional. The moment you walk in, you’re struck by how cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed the space is. Every detail has been considered, with multiple areas where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. The home is impeccably equipped — genuinely one of the most complete Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The linens were fresh, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything felt clean and well cared for. Darryl, the owner, was outstanding: incredibly responsive, always available, and full of great recommendations. He replied within minutes every time we reached out. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s warm, welcoming, and simply perfect. We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

A very cozy home with plenty to do both around the area and within the home. We especially enjoyed the wood stove. Everything we needed was on the property, and Darryl's info binder had all the answers we needed. We booked a last-minute 2-night trip for just 2 people - definitely planning to book this location again with a larger group!

We had a great experience at Darryl’s home. There were 6 adults and 1 baby and there was plenty of space to spread out in. There was a snow/ice storm while we were there so the movie theatre was used often & so appreciated. My adult children mentioned that the house was even better than the pictures & description provided. Darryl was a professional and responsive host and I would highly recommend a stay at his wonderful home!

The place was fantastic—we hosted an extended-family Christmas here and it couldn’t have worked out better. The movie room got a ton of use, from Xbox game sessions to football and movie nights. The hot tub was incredible, especially on chilly evenings. Being so close to Sunday River was perfect, and the kitchen was a great gathering space for everyone. Best of all, the layout made it easy for everyone to find their own comfortable spot.

Me and my 3 friends had an amazing stay here. The view was truly beautiful and the place was so warm and cozy. We had an amazing time cooking different kinds of meals and baking. Great place to relax and get away from reality for a bit ! Thank you Darryl for letting us stay in your beautiful home and being such an attentive host !!

Find us

Our cabin is located on a private street overlooking Lake Christopher. There is enough parking for 4 cars without any issues. Sunday River is an 18 minute drive away, Oxford Casino is a 30 minute drive and downtown Bethel is a 10 minute drive.
