House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home nor in the patio. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

Great place to stay, lovely apartment in a good location. Plenty of amenities in the place and was very clean when we arrived. Patio is a nice spot to sit out and chill and we loved the egg chairs in the kitchen

Darryl’s property was everything we could’ve asked for, and then some! The property was absolutely beautiful, super clean, close to everything we needed, and had all the necessities! Darryl was an amazingly responsive and accommodating host. I’d gladly rent with him again.

Darryl was the perfect host to communicate with. Always a quick response. We needed a last minute accommodation and the apartment with private patio fit the bill. Great location to walk thru town. Large kitchen for entertaining. Had a friend visit for dinner and bought some beautiful lobsters. Forgot to look to see if there was a large pot for cooking and lo and behold there was a big Lobster pot! Now that’s a great host!! Having 2 bedrooms was lovely but only used one. Bath was clean and beautiful. Living room was perfect for entertaining with a nice open floor plan.

Great spot! Comfortable and spacious for 4 adults and an infant. Really appreciated that there was a high chair tucked in a closet too. Fantastic walkable location. We'd definitely stay here again!

Darryl’s place was exactly as described,; clean, modern, and spacious! The entire house had nice decor with a fun Key West vibe! The bedrooms were clean and relaxing, soft sheets and blankets and big comfortable mattresses! The place had nice A/C and windows with views of the ocean in the distance! The place was easy to access with provided instructions, and included a helpful parking space. The location was great, walkable to restaurants, the harbor, and a nearby convenience store. Overall, highly recommended and a great deal for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing escape in Gloucester.

We had a wonderful stay at the Duval House! Darryl was an excellent host and was readily available to answer any questions we had and provide suggestions for things to do in the area. He was even able to accommodate us despite our very last minute booking request. The home was beautiful and had everything we could’ve needed, and the location was absolutely perfect with plenty to do within walking or a short driving distance. We love that it was pet friendly and we were able to bring our corgi! We’ll definitely be booking with Darryl again!
