House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

Our rental unit is completely private for you. The only common space is the hallway from the main entrance to the apartment doors.

It was our first time in Portsmouth, NH. We wanted something central and within walking distance. Darryl's place was perfect! It was conveniently located and had a private parking spot for our car. This beautiful home fit exactly our needs... 3 bedrooms, a nice living room, spotless kitchen and lots of sunlight. Darryl was a great host and was very attentive to our needs. I would most definitely come back and stay here again.

Perfect location for great bars, restaurants and shopping. The apartment was very clean and a perfect amount of space for 3 adult couples. Darryl was a great host and very responsive to the few questions I had. I Would absolutely rent again.

Darryl was a fantastic host, very communicative and quick to respond. The place is gorgeous, well designed and comfortable. The outdoor patios are a nice touch. Wonderful location middle of downtown, easily walkable everywhere in town even with a toddler and infant. Coffee and pastry shop right outside the front door. We would stay again!

The place is central to everything downtown Portsmouth which allows you to walk to anything and everything. It’s is very clean and beautifully decorated. Amenities are updated and I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful, spacious home in a convenient location in downtown Portsmouth. Great layout, bedrooms were comfortable with lots of room. Nice patio / deck off of the too level, as well. Darryl was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Location, location, location. We planned a last minute trip to Portsmouth and were lucky to find Darryl’s place available. It is located next to pubs, bakeries, restaurants, parks and coffee shops. A quick 4 minute walk will take you to the water’s edge. The flat itself is very tastefully decorated and our host has really thought of everything. Comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms and comfortable living room, coffee pods, granola bars, phone chargers and garage parking. In addition, communicating with our host was a breeze … he always answered immediately and provided recommendations for parking and restaurants. As a seasoned traveler that has rented Airbnb properties all over the world, I highly recommend this upscale flat … there is room for everyone and you won’t be disappointed with the location, communication and comfort. It’s truly a 5 star experience.
