House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9 PM. Pet Fee = $75/pet (Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed). Pick up all dog waste. Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean-up fee. Early Check-in/Late Check-out (if possible) = $25 Check-out is at 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees, if the rule is not followed, are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 30 minutes to 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in an immediate cancellation without a refund. Renters must be 25 or older. No smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking is up to a $500 fee. This includes tobacco and marijuana smoke. No food or beverages allowed inside the sauna. If found out, there will be a penalty of $200. No unregistered guests without prior approval. The guest count in the reservation must match the guests on the property. Please let us know if you wish to have visitors or add additional guests to your group. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest per night. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus the cost of the shipping. Please note that propane tanks are not guaranteed, as it’s difficult to gauge their weight and guests often leave the valves open.

We had a great stay in Newry! We used the house as our base for a ski weekend and there was plenty of room for our family. The house feels new, is very clean and well appointed. We loved that it is situated in a private and very quiet setting. Might try to find another weekend to come back and stay again!

Great Airbnb in the perfect location. Tried something a little different for my birthday and headed to Newry, Maine. Super quiet and serene. The back patio is facing Sunday River Ski Resort. Kids had a ball playing in the basement. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi, sauna, and even made s’mores outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast lunch and dinners. The basement TV and couches were perfect for movie nights & popcorn with the family. We really enjoyed our stay with the family. Our dog did great too!

We loved our stay at Darryl's place. The house had everything we needed, from laundry to plenty of cooking equipment. The sauna and hot hub were a huge bonus. Check in was simple, the place was very clean, and Darryl was friendly and responsive for the few questions we had. The location was a great launch pad for nearby hikes and food just a short drive away. We'd happily stay here again! Thank you!
