House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

This place is a gem in downtown Portsmouth. You can’t beat the location, everything is walkable and you don’t have to worry about transportation at all. The place was so clean, and Darryl provided great recommendations and was the perfect level of attentive.

Daryl’s place has a lot going for it. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Market Square in downtown Portsmouth. You’re just steps away from excellent coffee shops, restaurants, and everything you might need during your stay. We did several carry-out orders and were amazed by how many great options were within walking distance to bring back to the apartment. Daryl has all the kitchen items you will need for a longer stay. This place is also an easy stroll to the waterfront, which made exploring the area a breeze. As with any vibrant downtown spot, there’s a bit of ambient noise—mostly from the street and occasional footsteps in the shared stairwell. That said, the bedroom is tucked away and wonderfully quiet, making for restful nights. The apartment itself is thoughtfully arranged, and the dedicated parking spot was a huge plus.

This place was amazing it was right in town and everything was right on the doorstep, Darryl was very good at communicating everything and the instructions were extremely easy to follow,, The home was spotless and very up to date, it was like a brand new home, it was so comfortable, I would most definitely without a doubt recommend this home.

We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back just a week later. The apartment was just as beautiful and comfortable as before, and it had everything we needed for another great visit. The location is perfect, with great restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront all within walking distance. Having a parking spot made things super easy too. We really love this place and would definitely stay again.

Darryl’s place was amazing exceeding my expectations. The place was spotless and the location was walkable to the best that Portsmouth had to offer. It was really hard to go, but we had such a great time and a wonderful vacation /family memory. I would definitely come here and stay again.
