House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back just a week later. The apartment was just as beautiful and comfortable as before, and it had everything we needed for another great visit. The location is perfect, with great restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront all within walking distance. Having a parking spot made things super easy too. We really love this place and would definitely stay again.

Darryl’s place was amazing exceeding my expectations. The place was spotless and the location was walkable to the best that Portsmouth had to offer. It was really hard to go, but we had such a great time and a wonderful vacation /family memory. I would definitely come here and stay again.

Everything was perfect from reservation information and communication with host to access code and wifi codes. The space is vibrant, polished and tasteful. The couch, chairs and bed were incredibly comfortable. The parking spot is a rare find in Portsmouth. The kitchen had extensive spices and kitchen tools and a lovely snack tray waiting as well as a multi function coffee maker which can accommodate K-cups (several "Dunkin" cups were waiting for us) or regular grounds. Instant coffee and dry creamer were also on hand. The bar supplies were better than we have ever experienced. The bathroom was super clean with lots of towels. A charming little grocery store (Richardson's) is a block away. The property is steps away from all the hotspots and best restaurants. Our host offered some restaurant recommendations that were spot on for us. Only two exterior steps to access property. The keyless access was effortless.

We had a great stay at Darryl’s place with our newborn baby! The location is very central making it easy to go explore the area and return to the unit when baby needs a break. The unit is very clean. Darryl is helpful and responsive to our questions.
