House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Smoking is strictly prohibited. A violation fee of $500 will be charged if evidence of smoking is found, including odor, residue, or cigarette remains. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

Highly recommend for an in-town location. The place was as clean as could be, very welcoming, very comfortable. Having a parking spot right outside the back door was so convenient. As a solo female I felt very comfortable there. Everything in downtown Portsmouth was easily walkable from here. On a Friday night it was a bit noisier from the living room (what you would expect downtown), but quiet in the bedroom. Darryl was so easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. One of my best Airbnb experiences! Thanks Darryl!

This gorgeous apartment was exactly as described and it was spotless! Additionally, even though I thought perhaps there may have been street noise, the bedroom is at the back of the apartment and it was silent all night. The location is amazing - mere steps from delicious food (Mexican, Italian, seafood, American tapas, hot pot…) and great shopping (make sure you visit Pickwick’s)! We especially appreciated the incredibly detailed description of where to park (with pictures). I’ve never had a host provide this and it was so helpful when navigating one way streets and busy traffic. This was the perfect pick for celebrating our 25th anniversary in our favorite city!

This was an excellent location. Walking distances all places downtown! The space was very clean and perfectly matched the description and photos. Darryl was so nice and responsive. He gave great dinner recommendations! Would definitely stay again.
