Our home is in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, near market square. This is a fantastic location in the heart of an ever-evolving city. There is a buzz of activity with exciting modernizing developments and updates at every turn. City noise from the street, potential construction updates and nightlife should be expected. We're located next to a bar that has live music especially on Friday and Saturday nights but it is mostly quiet during the rest of the week. White noise machine is available to drown out noise for light sleepers. Starter Supplies: We supply sufficient trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and other household essentials designed to last approximately three days. Should your stay extend beyond this period, we request that guests take on the responsibility of replenishing these items.

House rules

Please make sure you’re able to adhere to all of the rules before booking. - Quiet Hours - 10pm-8am - It is helpful if you're able to start the towels in the washer but it is not required. - Dishes should be washed and put away prior to checkout - Beds are to be left undone - No unregistered guests without prior approval - No smoking anywhere in the property (including the deck) - Must be 25 or older to rent the property - Pets are not allowed - Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 - If you check in and something is damaged, tell us immediately so we know when the damage occurred. - While we hope nothing is damaged during your stay, we understand accidents happen. Please tell us if anything is damaged during your stay so we can fix it for a future guest. Our housekeeper does a thorough check each cleaning and is asked to report anything not right. We’ll be more apt to work with you on damages if you tell us rather than find out about it after the fact. - Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. - Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. - If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

If you are visiting Portsmouth for work your drive to Pease is less than 12 minutes, the drive to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is less than 7 minutes and the drive to Portsmouth Regional Hospital is less than 9 minutes. If you're visiting the University of New Hampshire you are a mere 19 minutes door to door. Shopping at the Kittery Outlets is less than a 9 minute drive. The bus stop is one block away from the property and bus routes can take you anywhere in the area you need to go. There is paid parking available on the street and in nearby lots.
