House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $50/pet Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping.

Mr. Darryl was an excellent host! The home was exactly as described. Everything was clean, well organized, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Communication was clear and timely throughout the stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to enjoy the area. Great experience overall and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Darryl's apartment was the perfect place for our weekend getaway before the holidays. It was clean, quiet and convenient to shops, restaurants, the docks and the promenade. The apartment is in the perfect location to walk the Harborwalk and learn fun facts about Gloucester's history. After doing that, my husband and I poked around in the shops on Main St. We had the perfect weekend! Darryl was the perfect host and we'd stay in his apartment again in a heartbeat.

We loved the loft! It was in the perfect location; right on Main Street so lots of restaurants and shops were just down the street. We hope to come back to explore the area some more. The loft was so beautiful and welcoming. So many little touches—kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, a coffee station set up with coffee and tea, even ear plugs in the nightstands. The host really went above and beyond to create an inviting space to stay. And Larry was extremely prompt and helpful in responding to my messages.

Darryl’s rental in Gloucester was perfect! Cute and cozy with the most beautiful high ceilings and lofty character. The little back terrace attached to the property was a major plus for us as well. Pet-friendly too which worked super well for us since we were roadtripping with our pup. The rental was also centrally located in the cutest town with plenty of restaurants and things to do. Darryl was a great host during our stay. He was very quick to respond to all my texts. One example of this is that a few of the skylight shades were not working. He was able to get a handyman to come and reprogram them within 2 days. Note he did try to get someone sooner but they were booked. He was prompt to relay this info to me. Overall we had a great time in his loft rental and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

My husband and I stayed here with our pup to break up our drive home from Acadia and were not disappointed!! Loved the cathedral ceilings. The photos depict the home well - the bedroom is stunning with a nice view of the street, bed was super comfortable and having all our needs on one floor was so convenient. Bathroom was spacious with decent water pressure. There is a private patio through the back door which we didn’t use much other than for having our dog go potty but it was cute! There’s no official parking but we parked on the next street over with ease and never had an issue finding a spot. The town is also very walkable with a few great spots nearby for lunch and dinner. Source bakery has great breakfast options. Darryl is also very communicative and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Gloucester!

Darrell was a responsive and thoughtful host who provided clear and easy-to-follow instructions. His place was absolutely beautiful—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stacked with all the gadgets you would need to cook a fabulous meal. The location was perfect, within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and the downtown area. Although I didn’t use the back patio because of the weather, it was really nice to know there was a private outdoor space available. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
