House Rules

Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping. Our home is located in the commercial district and near restaurants, shops and venues in downtown Portsmouth. Unit is at the ground floor. City noise should be expected.

We loved staying at Darryl’s place in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. The perfect spot to relax, and steps away from so much — coffee, pastries, dining, provisions, and gift shops galore. The historic depth of Portsmouth itself was a feast for the eyes as we strolled around and made new friends.

Our stay in Portsmouth was five star once again with Darryl. This particular aviation unit is extremely well located to downtown… Earplugs are provided as street noise is possible but did not prevent us from sleeping at all as the mattress was exceptional. Every amenity is thought of. Thanks once again!

Darryl’s place is absolutely gorgeous! It looks exactly like the photos and feels very spacious and high end. The location couldn’t be better! It was SO centrally located, everything is right outside your door!

My husband and I felt right at home in this lovely apartment which was perfectly located to shops, restaurants and well, everything! The kitchen had every amenity you would want, the bathroom towels plush and bedroom appointed with a super comfortable mattress and pillows. The layout of the apartment flowed well and was something we looked forward to coming back to after full days of activities. Access to the apartment with the key pads was easy and building hall lights were automatic which was a nice safety feature. The street felt safe and had an easy neighborhood vibe. We would definitely stay here again.

The directions to get to the apartment were very clear. Place was really lovely, lots of amenities. Extremely clean and well appointed. Easy to walk around in the area to shops and restaurants. Beds and couch were very comfortable.

As a frequent Portsmouth, NH, visitor, I’m shocked we didn’t find Darryl’s place sooner. Absolutely loved staying here. We visited for Halloween and had a perfect view of the parade right from our living room! The place was clean, cozy, and a perfect location. Nearly everything was walkable. Parking was easy and plentiful! We will definitely be back!
