Quiet hours begin at 9PM, no exceptions. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level - not just during quiet hours but at all times. NoiseAware party detection and security cameras are for ensuring this rule is followed. Any disturbances to our neighbors may result in immediate check-out without refund. Manager/owner being called out for a rules violation is a $250 fee Pet Fee = $75/pet. Dogs are welcome and cats are not allowed. I ask that they are well behaved (no chewing furniture/scratching, no consistent barking, they are house trained and you pick up all of their waste outside). Any dog waste found after a guest will be a $50 clean up fee. Early Check-in (if possible) = $25 Check-out is 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Check-out late fees are as follows: 30 minutes late = $50 2 hours late check out = daily base rate + any fees associated with disturbance of next guests' stay. Tampering with any of the technology in the home will result in immediate check-out without refund. Renters must be 25 or older. Strictly no smoking in the home. Evidence of smoking in the house is a $500 fee. Smoke detection sensors are in place. No unregistered guests. Guest count in reservation must match guests in the property. This is checked for all guests and the fee is $100/night per guest. If you leave something, there is a $25 shipping fee plus shipping. Our home is located in the commercial district and near restaurants, shops and venues in downtown Portsmouth. Unit is at the ground floor. City noise should be expected.

Darryl’s place was perfect! Extremely clean and comfortable. The location is great and very shot walking distance to some amazing restaurants, pubs and shops. Darryl was a great host.

We stayed at Darry's home in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, NH. My wife and I are re-inventing ourselves. We have 3 children and until this past summer we have not been away without children for almost 30 years. Well, technically, we still have our yellow lab, Hollie, and she joined us on vacation. The moment that you stepped out the front door you were breaths away from busy downtown with shops and restaurants. In the opposite direction, we were able to walk, yes walk, over a historic bridge and enter into Kittery, ME. The area was close to outlet shopping and hiking trails. The home, a one bedroom was cozy and warm. Darryl provided microwave popcorn, granola bars, Keurig cups and spices for all of your cooking needs. The kitchen was full service with a blender, microwave, full oven , fridge. The bathroom was clean and modernized. Parking was directly out in the rear of the home. Darry's aviation theme was evident throughout the home and added to the charm.

Darryl was an amazing host and this is a perfect place to stay in Portsmouth. Directly in downtown, you are steps away from the best shops and restaurants in the City. The house is perfect for 2 or 4 people and probably the cleanest Airbnb I have stayed in to date. I could not recommend this place enough.

PRISTINE. ELEGANT. EXCEPTIONAL. This is the single best location in all of Portsmouth, it is located perfectly in short (200-400 ft) walking distance to all the greatest activities, cafes, lounges, and restaurants. This place is a STEAL. There is a bakery next door and I woke up to the smell of bread every morning. Better than the photos, every little detail was meticulously thought of. I wanted to move in!! Usually Airbnbs make me feel a bit uneasy like I am guest in someone else’s space. I felt right at home almost as if I was in a boutique hotel where my needs were catered to before I even knew they existed. I would book this fast because I’ll be taking as many slots as possible going forward. This is easily my favorite Airbnb stay I have ever had (and I tend to be pretty snooty). Don’t hesitate, BOOK NOW! You won’t regret it.

We loved staying at Darryl’s place in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. The perfect spot to relax, and steps away from so much — coffee, pastries, dining, provisions, and gift shops galore. The historic depth of Portsmouth itself was a feast for the eyes as we strolled around and made new friends.

Our stay in Portsmouth was five star once again with Darryl. This particular aviation unit is extremely well located to downtown… Earplugs are provided as street noise is possible but did not prevent us from sleeping at all as the mattress was exceptional. Every amenity is thought of. Thanks once again!
